Their first born, the Viba Lara 800, packs that visual punch.
Yet she was adopted by a well-to-do family and has grown into a sophisticated debutante with fire behind her eyes and a chip on her shoulder.
Lara 800 is the brainchild of bike and art aficionado Bruno Vigezzi, industrialist Jean-Michel Sanchez, and Yann Bakonyi, the designer. At its heart is the engine from an MV Agusta Brutale 800. The 798cc 125bhp triple-cylinder power-plant sits in a steel trellis frame, with black textured, powder-coated looks complemented by an aluminum swingarm. Many features on this bike can be customized almost infinitely.
The high-mounted scrambler-esque exhaust is ceramic-coated and its shape speaks the Zard design language. The rear suspension is easily adaptable to suit the rider and terrain. About as exclusive as they come, just 23 Lara 800s are to be made.
