The Venice bike uses an original Vitus 979 frame. Vitus was one of the few French manufacturers that was making aluminum road frames back in the 80s and they maintained iconic status for years.
Brass and aluminum plates are engraved in geometrical patterns. It uses Campagnolo brakes and a Belleri stem. The original fork in polished aluminum is connected to a BH handlebar with aluminum end plugs. Saddle is handmade by Gilles Berthoud, leather Soulor mode; sitting atop a Spidel. The Campagnolo crankset is connected to a Nati chain. Also handgraved is the hub that completes the look with an aluminum brake outer casing holder with a hand engraved geometrical pattern. The bar tape is a Monte Grappa with Italian made leather.
All the vintage Lapierre superficialities were removed to create a clean look, paired with geometric hand engravings.
