Creative Swiss Army knife, designer, rider, scenographer, CHAPS is the founder of Studio DORME. Based in Paris, France. He explores the world of racing through different means of expression ranging from clothing to objects, from video to events.

The Idea

This table was created in 2021, after years spent on the bicross and motocross tracks.
"I wanted to combine a racing object with a minimal structure, fitting like a chameleon into a contemporary space."
Entirely handmade, RUBBER TABLE is a unique piece mixing textures like the opposition of a cold and smooth glass plate to the one of the rough and still hot rubber tire as at the arrival of a Supercross race.
It's made of 3 elements, an aluminum base with a mirror finish, a motocross tire, and a blue laminated glass plate. A cover completes the object.
