Frances Wilks was born in the United Kingdom in 1992. In her paintings, the London based artist Frances Wilks develops an obsession for the world of cars and the color red! In a very incarnated figurative style, she sketches portraits, typical scenes, and settings, or details of the world of Formula 1, which one might have associated with the masculine archetype. Frances Wilks shows us that one can always hijack the codes and play with them.
