    Product description

One of the most iconic planes, this cast aluminium propeller blade from the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, Circa 1960’s. Stripped of its coating and polished to a mirror finish, then mounted, on a gun metal powder-coated wheel hub of a Boeing 737, to create the reflection of a flower, on the base of the blade.

A flawless and impressive piece of aircraft art, that makes an unprecedented statement.

Designed by Julio Corulo, Artemis Atelier Miami.

From 35000 feet to your space…

    • Width 18"in/ 457mm

    • Materials – Mirror Polished Aluminium

    • To care for your polished aluminium, we would suggest a dry, dusting cloth, to keep it clean. All Metal, over time will dull and develop a patina, however, this is easily removed with a dab of polish.

    Facts

    • The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built by Lockheed. Capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft.

    • It can be said, without fear of contradiction, that the C-130 Hercules is one of the most important aircraft in aviation history.

    • The Hercules is without a doubt the world’s most proven workhorse – and for good reason.

    • The C-130 is one of the top three longest, continuous, aircraft production lines, of any type.
