Description

Product description

The donor bike of the Fuel "Green Wasp" 250 is an old Ossa Pioneer 250 from 1971. An enduro motorcycle manufactured by the historic Spanish company OSSA. With a 2T and 250cc engine, it had an enormous commercial success both in Europe and in the USA and it became one of the most emblematic models of the Spanish brand. The Green Wasp was born with a clear inspiration in the old Dirt Track Triumph of the 70s and the main idea was to make a motorcycle as simple as possible, it should only have the essential to ride. In fact, the motorcycle made its debut in the dirt track race "El Rollo" during the last edition of Wheels & Waves festival.

Build

To achieve this classic dirt track bike shape, a Triumph Trackmaster fiber tank was adapted together with a retro single-seat and metal rear fender. In the front are mounted  41mm forks from a Kawasaki, 19" rim with Mitas tires and dirt track handlebars. In the rear part, the hub assembly and brake disc are from a Beta 80, while the brake pump comes from a Ducati. The escape was created by Bazer (ex Tavi racing) and with a goal to be something representative of the 70s and what a better color than a green chill metal flake that the Bip Bip boys executed to perfection. All of these combined make the amazing "Green Wasp".
