The Build

The bike started just like any other Viks bike, by a handmade frame. We chose the GT frame because of its aggressive look. The aluminum tubing was handbent into the unique frame that characterizes Viks. A high sitting seat and low bars give it a very aggressive stance so we wanted to further emphasize this character by giving it a full black color layout. Not only is it part of our style but it seemed like the perfect fit for a bike like this.

Bits and Pieces

This special edition Viks GT uses the finest components available for the best performance possible. A Gates Carbon Belt Drive is installed instead of a regular chain, ensuring reliability without much of the maintenance required. Connected to a BLB crank and a Shimano Square-Taper, the wheels are stopped by Shimano SLX Hydraulic disc brakes both front and rear. The wide-profiled BLB Notorious 90 Rims are paired to high performance Schwalbe Kojak tires for ultimate performance on the road. The Brooks England Cambium C15 sits atop a BLB Track seatpost to give the bike a high riding position.
