When Ducati asked Young Guns Speed Shop to make a design study for them, the builder gave birth to the Pandora.

Design Study

Halfway between a Grand Prix bike and a modern Café Racer, the Pandora is based on the Ducati 1200 Mostro R, aka the most powerful Mostro ever made. It is inspired by iconic sport bikes from the 1970’s such as the Ducati 900SS and the 750 Sport, but still wanted to give a contemporary look to it.

Features

The biggest twist on the Pandora is the fuel tank actually moved to the rear, allowing YGGS to hide all the electronic stuff (battery, ABS…) under the front tank. The fuel tank is able to get 9 liter of fuel which is more than enough to race between two red lights. To get a more “racing” driving position, stock handlebar was replaced by clip-ons. The cooler was replaced to a smaller yet more efficient one than stock and rubber hoses were replaced by aluminium pipes to get a more radical look. And other important touch, is the stock exhaust that has been replaced by a handcrafted megaphone made from a flat sheet of metal for a noise that will scare your neighboors.
