The MV Agusta Dragster 800RR x TheArsenale is the Italian marque's most focused naked motorcycle, reinterpreted in a limited TheArsenale Edition that brings 140 HP from an inline three-cylinder 798cc engine, a fully redesigned electronic suite, and a coachbuilt-level attention to aluminum and LED detailing into a 168 kg machine capable of 244 km/h.

The Collaboration

TheArsenale's partnership with MV Agusta marks one of the most significant collaborations the platform has undertaken. The Dragster 800 RR was chosen because it represents what TheArsenale looks for in any machine: a singular style, a focused engineering brief, and a performance envelope that no direct competitor matches. The TheArsenale Edition was developed between the Macau flagship and the Italian factory, with the result available both at TheArsenale Macau and on the online marketplace. What Makes It

The Dragster 800 RR's redesign starts at the front fender, where aluminum side brackets signal the material language carried throughout the machine. The semi-handlebars feature an adjustable angle, with a CRC (Castiglioni Research Centre) support bracket integrating the adjustable steering damper directly into the upper triple clamp. Digital instrumentation is framed by aluminum elements and covered by a dedicated housing. The tank pad is laser-engraved aluminum. The LED taillight replaces a dual-element design with a single three-dimensional unit incorporating a light guide. The tail fairing is entirely new from its support frame forward, and the passenger footpegs are concealed within it, folding out from a bracket on the frame side plates. The rear section of the redesigned seat is color-matched to the fairings. All turn indicators carry LED lights.

Performance

The three-cylinder 798cc engine shares its lineage with the Brutale 800 RR unit but has been updated throughout for Euro 4 compliance and improved durability. A new countershaft, redesigned primary drive, revised intake cam profiles, and new valve specifications improve the powerplant. The gearbox is entirely new, with reduced shift force and faster engagement. Exhaust manifolds and silencers have been revised, the latter shielded in anodized and brushed aluminum. Engine covers reduce mechanical noise and provide impact protection. The MVICS electronics platform handles traction control across eight settings, Ride By Wire throttle management, and three factory maps plus one user-definable map allowing adjustment of throttle response, rev limiter, sensitivity, and engine brake. ECU algorithms and maps are specific to the Dragster 800 RR application.
