The Katalis EV.1000 is a TheArsenale special edition of the Indonesian studio's flagship electric two-wheeler, a one-of-one design built as a rolling blueprint for the future of urban mobility.

The Concept

The Katalis EV.1000 is the successor to the EV.500 released in April 2020. TheArsenale originally intended to display the EV.500 at its City of Dreams location in Macau, but the conversation pivoted into a full collaboration: a new design, one of a kind in the world, that repositions the brand for a younger generation ready to embrace electric vehicles as their everyday ride.

The Ride

The bike is driven by a 1000-watt brushless hub motor paired with a 48V 45Ah battery pack and a 48 to 72 Volt controller. In real-world use, the EV.1000 accelerates up to 70 to 80 kilometers per hour and covers around 90 kilometers on a single charge, enough for a full day of city riding without plugging in.

Visually, the EV.1000 is defined by a dominant matte black finish wrapped with an orange striped ornament. The color palette is pulled straight from TheArsenale's brand guidelines and gives the machine a strong graphic identity in traffic.
