The Origin

Racing & Emotion, based in Le Mans, France, hunts down real Porsche 911 hoods from the 74 to 89 era, strips them, restores the steel, then hands each panel to an artist. The Toys For Big Boys artwork layers icons of adult playgrounds (cars, watches, cameras, sneakers) directly onto the metal, so the piece reads as a manifesto for a certain kind of Porsche 911 collector.

Materials

Each hood is a genuine 911 / 930 steel reproduction, complete with the original Porsche bonnet badge and hardware points, then hand-painted and lacquered for long term display. Every panel is unique. It ships fully inspected, wrapped and reinforced, ready to hang as a full-size piece of Porsche wall art in a garage, showroom or living space.
