AIRFLY E-FOIL

The Airfly e-foil is an inflatable hydrofoil surfboard co-designed by Audi and Aerofoils, engineered to deliver silent flight over water at speeds up to 50 km/h. Its inflatable construction folds down for transport, so it fits on a yacht, in a car, or on a plane without a rigid board bag.

The Vision

Aerofoils partnered with Audi Design to reimagine the e-foil as a piece of travel-ready mobility. Audi brought the aesthetic and cabin-grade attention to detail, Aerofoils brought the propulsion and foil expertise. The Airfly is aimed squarely at yacht owners, adventurers, and nomads who want the freedom of an electric hydrofoil without committing to a fixed board.

In Motion

Aerofoils' proprietary Anti-Breach System keeps the mast planted through swell and chop, preserving agility and ride dynamics when a rigid foil would break the surface. Riders control the board through a full-color remote display with real-time telemetry and three riding modes: an entry-level mode, Gonna-Fly for intermediates, and Rocket Ride for advanced riders. The Aerofoils app on iOS and Android tracks ride status, range, and performance. Top speed sits at 50 km/h, with up to 2 hours of ride time and 40 km of range on a single charge.
