The Concept

Arc Vehicle was founded on a simple and radical conviction: that an electric motorcycle could surpass the best petrol machines not just in performance metrics but in the depth of the experience it delivers. The Vector is the physical proof of that argument. Every unit is handmade in Britain and tailored to its owner, placing it outside the category of production motorcycles entirely. Arc describes itself as being on a mission to explore the world in state-of-the-art style while committing to protect it. The Vector is where that philosophy becomes steel, carbon, and electricity.

The Build

The entire structure is a carbon fibre monocoque, with carbon fibre swing arms, front and rear huggers, and a carbon fibre top panel. There is no steel frame in the conventional sense: the monocoque is both structure and surface. Power comes from a bespoke permanent rare-earth magnet AC motor producing 87 kW (117 HP) at peak and a peak torque of 173 Nm at the motor, translating to a remarkable 827 Nm at the wheel. Energy is stored in a 16.8 kWh Samsung battery pack and transmitted through a clutchless single-gear transmission for seamless acceleration.

Suspension front and rear uses Ohlins units: an ILX56 Mono-Shock at the front operating through a hub-centre steering carbon fibre swing arm with 150 mm of travel, and a TTX56 Mono-Shock at the rear with 110 mm. Wheels are BST Black Diamond 5 carbon fibre units shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres front and rear. Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema 4-piston monobloc calipers with 320 mm floating front discs and a Brembo 2-piston caliper with a 240 mm rear disc, governed by Continental Advanced ABS with an inertial measurement unit for lean-sensitive intervention.

Performance

The Arc Vector reaches 62 mph in 3.1 seconds and tops out at 200 km/h. It is not tuned for outright top speed but for the quality of its response across the entire range: immediate torque delivery, precise chassis behaviour, and a braking system calibrated for both circuit and road use. At 240 kg it is heavier than a lightweight sportsbike, but the low centre of gravity from the battery placement and the hub-centre steering geometry produce handling that rewards experienced riders immediately.
