The Art Ball Chair collection by Racing and Emotion is a series of handmade leather lounge chairs shaped like oversized racing spheres, produced in Le Mans and inspired by the visual codes of endurance motorsport.

The Origin

Racing and Emotion is a French luxury furniture house founded in 2010 in Le Mans, the birthplace of the 24 Hours race. The workshop specializes in bespoke, handmade pieces that translate motorsport identity into livable interior design. The Art Ball chair is one of the studio signatures, an oversized sphere cut open and dressed in premium leather to become a private cocoon for a home library, lounge or garage-cave.

Materials

Each chair is fully handmade with a leather interior, stitched to order and finished by in-house craftsmen. Every leather color and every stitching color can be specified, which means the Art Ball can be aligned with the paint of a specific car, the tone of a private collection, or a bespoke interior scheme. The build focuses on tactile depth: hand-selected hides, precise saddle stitching and racing-grade padding that keeps the chair supportive over long sittings.
