The Art Egg Chair collection by Racing and Emotion is a family of handcrafted lounge eggs made in Le Mans, each finished in the livery of a legendary endurance racing car and dressed with a full leather interior.

The Origin

Racing and Emotion is a French luxury furniture workshop founded in 2010 in Le Mans, the home of the 24 Hours race. Every piece is designed and built in-house by artisans who translate motorsport identity into interior design. The Art Egg Chair is one of their signature silhouettes: an oversized egg-shaped shell that becomes a private cocoon in a living room, a home office or a garage lounge.

Materials

The shell is finished in the codes of iconic racing cars, from Gulf-liveried Porsche 917 tributes to Le Mans-winning classics. Inside, the chair is upholstered with a full handmade leather interior, hand-stitched to order. Racing and Emotion offers near-total customization, so leather colors, stitching colors, exterior livery and even period-correct sponsor graphics can be aligned with a specific car in a collection or a specific interior scheme.
