The Aurum 18ct espresso machine by Super Veloce is a limited edition, gold plated V12 espresso maker built in Italy, a functional tribute to the golden age of Formula One engines executed in aerospace materials and 18 carat gold.

The Origin

The Espresso Veloce Aurum 18CT is designed to emulate the iconic V12 engines that defined a thrilling chapter of motorsport history. It brings together luxury, art and engineering, and is meticulously crafted in Italy in tribute to legendary engineers like Colombo, Lampredi, Alfieri and Forghieri, the men who pushed high performance engineering for Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini and Maserati.

With this creation, Super Veloce captures the spirit of championship winning machines in a functional work of art. Limited to only 10 pieces worldwide, the Aurum sits at the top of the Espresso Veloce line, treated as a genuine collector piece rather than a kitchen appliance.

Materials

The build reads like a race car spec sheet: aerospace Anticorodal 6082 T6 and aerospace grade 7075 alloy for the structural parts, stainless steel 316 titanium and surgical stainless steel 304 for the wetted components, and a Nordic Gold billet plated with 20 micron 18ct yellow gold for the crown jewel finish.

The engine V block is anodised bright silver, the cylinder heads anodised satin silver, the intake venturis in black nickel, and the cam covers plated in Nordic Gold with the same 20 micron 18ct yellow gold layer. The baseplate is jet black high pressure thermoset carbon fibre (2x2 twill), hand laid at 45 degrees, so the machine sits on a race grade composite plinth.

Every element pays homage to the cutting edge technology of the 1990s Formula One era, while ensuring functionality is as remarkable as the form. A grappa dispenser is integrated into the machine, adding an extra layer of indulgence for owners who take their espresso and their after dinner drink from the same object.
