The Gucci bike Bianchi by Gucci is a carbon fiber monocoque bicycle designed by Frida Giannini, then creative director of Gucci, in partnership with Italian bike maker Bianchi. It is Gucci's style translated onto two wheels: fast, sculptural, and unmistakably branded.
The Collaboration
Bianchi is the world's oldest bicycle manufacturer, founded in Milan in 1885. Gucci is one of the world's most recognizable luxury houses. The Bianchi by Gucci duo brought the two together in a numbered edition sold exclusively at Gucci's 18 Sloane Street boutique in London, and it has since become a rare collector's piece. This is the darker sibling in the pair: a black carbon monocoque frame finished with Gucci's signature green-red-green webbing and leather touches.
What Makes It
The frame is a full carbon fiber monocoque, engineered by Bianchi for the performance you expect from a top-tier Italian road bike, then dressed in Gucci codes: the House webbing across the seat tube, the interlocking GG monogram, and premium leather on the saddle and grips. It is a piece that reads as fashion object standing still and as a serious road machine once you clip in. Because it was sold only at a single Gucci flagship, complete units in this condition rarely surface on the open market.
