The Ducati 848 Raffaele Toro is a one off custom Ducati 848 built for a specific client, tuned for track sharp riding and finished with obsessive attention to detail, down to aviation grade bolts and fasteners on every point of the machine.

The Story

The Raffaele Toro was designed with one very particular client in mind: a rider who wanted a scary fast, agile and pristine Ducati superbike that would still read as a piece of applied art in his garage. The base is the Ducati 848, the smaller displacement sister of the 1098, chosen for its lively character, its low weight and its balance on tight roads and short circuits.

The Build

Every fastener on the bike was replaced with aviation grade bolts and titanium hardware, both for weight savings and for the jewel like appearance those fittings bring to a finished machine. The Raffaele Toro reads as pristine, hyperactive, and precisely thought out, an exercise in restraint that reaches the level of detail only a handful of workshops can hit on a bike like this.
