The Collaboration

Alonso's 2024 Aston Martin campaign carried the AMR24 chassis under the paddock's most experienced driver. These gloves are team-issue, worn by Alonso himself during a race weekend and signed by the driver afterward. The green Aston Martin livery on the cuffs is embroidered with the season's key partners: Aramco on the wrist band and Girard-Perregaux on the sides, alongside OMP's own maker's mark.

Materials & Fit

The OMP racing gloves are built to FIA 8856-2018 standard, the same certification worn by every F1 driver on the grid: outer shell in fireproof Nomex, high-friction suede palm and fingers for wheel grip, elasticated wrist and long epaulette cuff that seals under the race suit sleeve. The palms carry the specific wear pattern of race stints on the Aston Martin steering wheel. Sold in a shadow-box display case ready to hang, with the certificate of authenticity included.
