The Artist

TheArsenale's framed helmet series is a workshop celebration of the greatest liveries in motorsport history, recreated by hand as three dimensional wall art. Each piece is built to museum grade finish standards, using the same automotive painting techniques found on the original race lids, so it can hang next to a car in a garage or a piece of contemporary art in a gallery.

The Piece

The livery is recreated in automotive paint on a helmet shell, then finished with a carbon fiber wrap and set inside a custom shadow box frame measuring 19.7 by 19.7 inches (50 by 50 cm). The piece is a fully handcrafted tribute to a 1986 season F1 helmet, ready to hang.
