Inspired from the Porsche 917 driven by Steve McQueen in the 1971 movie "Le Mans", this piece of handmade art depict the scars of that crazy race thank’s to a hyper-realistic patina in the pure tradition from "After The Race".
The bodywork is an exact reproduction of the original: with all features authentically remade.  The team goes as far as possible in the details which include finishing the reverse in the same grey color that is found in the interior of the famous 917.
This mythical bonnet is a limited edition of 20 examples each of which signed and numbered.
Each hood is individually handmade, pop art style ( no stickers! ), artwork performed on a real hood from a used car. Every hood, every door is unique, freely inspired by the liveries of legendary race cars. All are one-off pieces and come with a back a plate which attests the authenticity. The patina is performed with the slag from the race, oil, tire rubber and other ingredients that are best kept secret.
