DUCATI 860 GT TURBO

Putting a turbo on a 1978 Ducati 860 GT is not the easiest thing to do, nor the most obvious mod you would do to this vintage Ducati.

When Max Hazan received that order, he had to put all is know-how to make the cleanest build possible.

As this, the engine was heavily tuned and set up with the turbo, then a full custom made frame has been handbuilt around the engine using chromoly steel.

The bike has been built wisely, as it is as beautiful to look at as it is a thrill to drive.

The engine has received a Garrett GT15 turbo, a WeberDCOE 40 carburetor, a Holley fuel pump, an Electronik Sachse ignition, an electric oil system, stainless intakes and a custom made exhaust system, among the endless list of Hazan Motorworks' modifications and set ups.

To get the right handling, the Ducati receives a custom made chromoly swing arm, has its wheelbase a little bit shortened to get a better feeling, sits on a set of Excel rims and uses Wilwoods caliper on GSX-R breaks to slow down that one of a kind powerhouse.

This list is just a summary, as Hazan Motorworks custom, tunes and rebuilt everything.
