iXOOST XiLO Scuderia - Hi-Fi Speaker

The iXOOST XiLO Scuderia is a limited edition hand-built hi-fi speaker from Modena, mounted on a monocoque wooden and aluminum chassis with hand-welded intertwining exhaust pipes as its centerpiece. It fuses artisanal woodworking, aluminum, and racing-inspired exhaust engineering into a single 200W audio sculpture.

The Origin

The XiLO Scuderia is built in Modena, the engine capital of the world, by iXOOST. Its defining feature is a set of hand-welded exhaust pipes intertwined across the chassis, referencing the racing heritage of the region while functioning as an active part of the audio design.

Each unit is built on demand, taking 60 to 90 days to produce, and sits closer to a bespoke commission than a stock product.

Materials

The chassis is a monocoque assembly of mahogany and oak striatum wood combined with aluminum, hand-finished in Italy. The exhaust pipes are welded by hand, giving each piece subtle variations from unit to unit and reinforcing the artisanal character of the object.

Performance

Audio is delivered by a 2 inch tweeter, two 3 inch midrange drivers, a 4 inch midbass driver, and an 8 inch subwoofer, backed by an amplification chain rated at 2 x 100 W plus 1 x 100 W for a total output of 200W. Connectivity is handled via AUX and Bluetooth, keeping the setup uncluttered while remaining compatible with modern sources.
