The RIOCAM Lancia Stratos HF art print is a velvet fabric fine art piece by Miami photographer Camilo Rios White, immortalising one of motorsport's most audacious rally legends through the colour-charged, emotionally raw lens that has made RIOCAM an icon of automotive art.
The Artist
Camilo Rios White, working under the name RIOCAM, spent over a decade defining the visual language of Miami's fashion world. Campaigns for Stella McCartney, OFFWHITE, ERES Paris and The Webster all carry his imprint, and his role as Creative Director at Toys for Boys Magazine gave him a platform for the kind of automotive obsession that runs through every frame he shoots. Heavily influenced by the radical candour of the Terrible Three, Von Wangenheim, Bourdin and Newton, RIOCAM pursues images that feel lived-in and physically present rather than polished into abstraction. The Lancia Stratos HF Zero Concept, simultaneously a prototype and a myth, is a natural subject for that pursuit.
The Piece
Produced on velvet and velore fabric, the print trades the cold precision of standard photographic output for something warmer and more tactile. The Stratos's low, dramatic profile translates onto the fabric's nap as texture and shadow rather than flat colour, making the car feel three-dimensional at viewing distance. The floating frame keeps the print suspended above its mount, adding a further layer of spatial tension that suits the subject's reputation as a machine that seemed to defy physical limits. Sized at 60 x 40 inches, it fills a wall rather than decorates it.
