The Piece
Created by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team for the W05 Hybrid, this original carbon-fibre racing steering wheel was used by Lewis Hamilton during the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship. Complete with its original paddles and electronics, it remains in the same configuration as during the title-winning campaign. Acquired directly from Mercedes in 2015 by renowned Formula 1 collector Romain Grosjean and preserved in a prestigious private collection, the piece combines complex race engineering with the visual intensity of a modern Formula 1 cockpit. A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Virage F1 accompanies the artifact.
