MoonBike - Electric Snowbike

The MoonBike electric snowbike is a French-built winter machine that pairs a rear track and a front ski in an ultra-light frame, delivering silent, torquey riding without any of the noise, fuel, or bulk of a traditional snowmobile.

The Concept

MoonBikes were designed as a full rethink of how you should move across snow: a streamlined profile, a low center of gravity, and a body that is three times lighter than a classic snowmobile, so anyone can pick it up, load it in a car, or store it in a garage. The Ride

The MoonBike runs a 3 kW electric motor delivering 170 Nm of instant torque, pushing top speed to 26 mph while offering up to three hours of ride time with the PowerPack option. Its patented propulsion system is built on fewer than 200 parts, with no chains and no belts, keeping maintenance minimal and reliability high. Silent, clean and predictable, it opens quiet corners of the mountain that a combustion sled would spoil.
