The Jim25 is a hand-built Lotus 25 office chair by Racing & Emotion, inspired by the Lotus 25 driven by Jim Clark to the 1963 Formula 1 World Championship.

The Origin

Every Racing & Emotion chair is designed, shaped, and manufactured entirely by hand in Le Mans, France, the home of the world's most famous 24-hour endurance race. The Jim25 pays tribute to the Lotus 25, Colin Chapman's revolutionary monocoque single-seater that took Jim Clark to the 1963 F1 world title. It brings the reclined cockpit stance of that lightweight racer into a modern studio or executive office.

Materials

The shell is built for firm but flexible support, mounted on a swivel base with height adjustment for daily desk use. The interior is fully upholstered in premium leather, hand-stitched by the Racing & Emotion atelier, then assembled and painted piece by piece. The result is lightweight, durable, and finished to the standard of a real motorsport bucket seat.
