The M22 is a hand-built Porsche 917 office chair by Racing & Emotion, inspired by the Porsche 917K number 22 that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1971 with Marko and Van Lennep.

The Origin

Every Racing & Emotion chair is designed, shaped, and manufactured entirely by hand in Le Mans, France, the home of the world's most famous 24-hour endurance race. The M22 pays tribute to the Porsche 917K number 22, the Martini-liveried prototype that set a distance record at Le Mans in 1971 that stood for almost four decades. It brings the aura of the golden age of endurance racing into a modern studio or executive office.

Materials

The shell is built for firm but flexible support, mounted on a swivel base with height adjustment for daily desk use. The interior is fully upholstered in premium leather, hand-stitched by the Racing & Emotion atelier, then assembled and painted piece by piece. The result is lightweight, durable, and finished to the standard of a real motorsport bucket seat.
