Rezvani Tank Military Edition - Armored SUV

The Rezvani Tank Military Edition is a fully armored civilian XUV (Extreme Utility Vehicle) built by Rezvani Motors, combining B4 or B6+ ballistic protection with an optional 1,000 horsepower supercharged V8 in a road-legal package.

The Story

The Military Edition is the maximum-spec version of the Tank, Rezvani Motors' original tactical SUV. It takes the Tank platform and adds a full ballistic armor package, tactical countermeasures and a military-grade survival kit, keeping the daily-usable format but bringing protection up to the level of a diplomatic transport. Every unit is hand-built to order in Irvine, California.

The Build

The body is protected by bulletproof glass and body armor rated to stop high-caliber and assault-rifle rounds, with Kevlar wrapping around the fuel tank, battery and radiator. Underside blast protection and military-grade run-flat tires keep the vehicle moving through severe damage. EMP protection shields the electronics against directed EMP or nuclear pulse events. Options include an explosive device detection system, electrified door handles, magnetic deadbolts and a built-in pepper spray dispenser. Tactical hardware covers a FLIR thermal and night vision system, blinding front and rear lights, siren, PA system, dense smoke screen and a reinforced ram bumper with an integrated winch. Onboard survival gear includes gas masks, a hypothermia kit and a first aid kit.

Performance

Base spec is the 6.4L 500-horsepower V8, with an optional 6.2L supercharged V8 borrowed from the Dodge Demon at 1,000 horsepower and a 3.6L V6 offered as the entry engine. Reinforced suspension and all-terrain geometry let the armored Tank work on tarmac, gravel and rough trails despite the extra ballistic mass.
