The RIOCAM Car and Fashion Book Volume 2 is a 450 page hardcover art book where Miami based photographer Camilo Rios White stages haute couture, the female form and the world's most iconic supercars inside a single surreal universe.

The Concept

Ten years of work by RIOCAM distilled into one object. The book grew out of Camilo Rios White's decade shaping fashion photography in Miami for clients like The Webster, Del Toro, Cotton Citizen, Stella McCartney, OFF-WHITE, ERES Paris and L'Oreal, and out of his creative direction at United Rivers and Toys for Boys Magazine. Volume 2 covers the second wave of that work, a mind bending fusion of cars, fashion and photography that reads closer to a warhol style pop provocation than a traditional automotive title. From rare gems to icon supercars, each scene explores the interplay between women, fashion and machines built for speed. The book is a 10 x 12 inch hardcover with Swiss binding and an open spine, printed on paper that holds the depth and saturation the RIOCAM images demand. Across 450 pages, the reader moves through fashion editorials shot around supercars, still lifes that treat a headlight the way a jeweler treats a stone, and staged narratives that blur the line between an ad campaign and a personal art project. Camilo Rios White frames the book as the one he always dreamed of after a life spent collecting the photography books of those who inspired him, in his words, this is that moment.
