The Artist

RIOCAM (Camilo Rios White), born in Medellin, Colombia and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, spent over a decade building a photographic career at the intersection of Miami fashion and automotive culture. The Webster, Del Toro, Cotton Citizen, Stella McCartney, OFFWHITE, ERES Paris, and L'Oreal all found their visual identity through his lens. Founder and Creative Director of United Rivers and co-founding partner of Toys for Boys Magazine, Rios draws his approach from the Terrible Three of fashion photography: Chris Von Wangenheim, Guy Bourdin, and Helmut Newton. For them as for him, the most powerful images carry tension, narrative, and a refusal of sentimentality.
