ROUGE STRIPED BODY - THEARSENALE X FAITH CONNEXION, DOHA RUNWAY PIECE

The rouge striped body is a Doha runway piece from the collaboration between TheArsenale and the Paris fashion house Faith Connexion, a bodysuit that plays with racing stripes and matelot codes on a second skin cut.

The Collaboration

The bodysuit belongs to the capsule shown on the Doha runway, produced jointly by TheArsenale and Faith Connexion. The Paris house is known for its hand distressed leather, rock inspired prints and heritage denim worn by a specific circle of musicians, athletes and creatives. TheArsenale layered its mobility and performance vocabulary on top, and the runway body is the result of that dialogue.

Materials and Fit

The garment is a stretch cotton jersey bodysuit printed with a fine vertical red and white stripe, cut with long sleeves, a high neckline and a snap crotch. The silhouette hugs the body without restricting motion, which is why it worked on the runway and why it still works layered under a jacket, a parka or a pair of leggings from the same Doha capsule. Units produced for this drop were kept intentionally low, so each body reads more like a signed piece than a mass produced item.
