The Sherp Ark is an amphibious all-terrain vehicle built to reach places nothing else can. Also known as the Ark 3400, it clears extreme gradients, crosses water, and carries up to 22 passengers or 3,400 kg of payload wherever the mission demands.

The Story

Sherp engineered the Ark for the toughest missions on earth: rescue operations, scientific expeditions, remote logistics, and heavy-duty industrial work. Its 3-axis articulated steering system and torque-distribution all-wheel drive deliver mobility no conventional truck can match. Corrosion-resistant aluminum construction and a galvanized frame let it endure decades of abuse in deserts, glaciers, wetlands, and everything in between.

Performance

At the core sits the Doosan D24 Tier-4-final diesel engine with Diesel Oxidation Catalyst, tuned for high torque, low noise, and clean emissions. Fuel autonomy stretches to 95 hours at just 8-12 liters per hour, so you focus on the mission, not refueling stops. The Ark climbs grades up to 40 degrees, cruises at 30 km/h on land, and swims at up to 6 km/h thanks to automated water pumps in the front and rear sections. An adjustable tire pressure system, controlled by exhaust gas circulation, lets you dial ground pressure between 0.07 and 0.15 kg/cm2 to match any terrain or payload, and a punctured tire can be isolated to keep moving. Modular architecture lets operators fit a medical module, dwelling setup, tank unit, or drilling rig.
