Surf Turbo Black

The Surf Turbo Black is a hand-shaped Martini Racing tribute surfboard by Racing & Emotion, built in Le Mans, France, with a blacked-out Martini livery layered over a full-size shortboard shape.

The Story

Racing & Emotion is a Le Mans studio that translates motorsport icons into functional art. The Surf Turbo Black takes the instantly recognisable Martini Racing stripes, the red-and-blue signature that appeared on winning Porsches, Lancias and Alfas from the 1970s onward, and reinterprets them on a black background for a stealthier collector piece. The board is designed to ride the waves and to hang on the wall of a racing-fan garage.

The Design

Each board is designed, shaped and painted entirely by hand. The PU core is wrapped in fiberglass and finished with polyester resin, a combination Racing & Emotion uses across the range for durability in the water and depth of finish for display. The 6'0" outline, 20 1/4" width and 2 1/2" thickness sit in a versatile shortboard range.
