The Story

TheArsenale has been at the centre of personal aviation for ten years, from the AIR4 flying car built with Renault to the eVTOL brands shown in its concept stores. The TA_AERO 01 is the first aircraft to carry the TheArsenale name. It is produced on demand by our manufacturing partner in shenzen tech capital of the world, imported, inspected and delivered by our aviation team, with training included at handover. The Flight

Eight electric motors on four coaxial arms lift the aircraft vertically, no runway needed. The triple-redundant flight computer keeps the machine stable in a 2 metre hover, and RTK positioning holds the aircraft to the metre. Flying is deliberately simple: the aircraft handles balance, altitude and return-to-home, the pilot handles direction. In the United States the TA_AERO 01 is designed to operate as a Part 103 ultralight, which means no pilot licence and no airworthiness certificate for private recreational flight.

Safety by Design

Safety is automated rather than left to the pilot. If attitude, motor output or flight-control redundancy is compromised, the emergency system activates on its own, and an emergency landing button is always within reach. Lose the signal for more than 5 seconds and the aircraft flies itself home, rerouting around obstacles and hovering before it lands. A two-stage low-battery return warns you visually and audibly, a configurable electronic fence keeps the flight inside the zone you define, and two-stage deceleration with cushioned fuselage pads softens every landing.

Do I need a pilot licence to fly the TA_AERO 01?

In the United States the TA_AERO 01 is designed to fly under FAR Part 103, the ultralight category, which requires no pilot licence and no airworthiness certificate for private recreational flight. Rules differ in other countries, and our team will tell you what applies where you fly before you order.

Where can I take off and land?

Anywhere you have the space and the right to use it: a private field, an estate, a yacht deck, a helipad. The aircraft takes off and lands vertically, so no runway is needed. It cannot be flown over congested areas or inside controlled airspace without authorisation.

How hard is it to fly?

The aircraft does the hard part. Balance, altitude hold, hover and return-to-home are automated, so the pilot handles direction and intent. Every owner receives training at handover before the first flight.

How long does it fly and how far?

Up to 30 minutes on a charge, at up to 70 km/h, with a 35 km flight radius. A two-stage low-battery alert brings you home well before the limit.

What happens if something goes wrong in the air?

The flight computer is triple-redundant. If a fault is detected the emergency system activates on its own, an emergency landing button is always available, and if the signal is lost for more than 5 seconds the aircraft returns home by itself, avoiding obstacles and hovering before landing.

Can I fly in wind or rain?

The TA_AERO 01 is rated for winds up to 6 m/s and temperatures from 5 to 50°C. It is a fair-weather aircraft: no rain, no strong wind, no night flight without the external lighting system.

Does it fit in a garage?

Yes. The arms fold and the aircraft measures 3.0 x 1.1 x 1.1 m folded, the footprint of a large motorcycle with a sidecar. Unfolded it spans 3.8 m.
