The Malibu luxury paddleboard by Beau Lake is a majestic longboard inspired by Gibson guitars and 1950s California surf culture, wrapped in rosewood veneer with a Sunburst edge paint finish.

The Design

The Beau Lake Malibu pays tribute to the golden era of surf and rock, when Gibson guitars and California longboards defined an entire aesthetic. Its silhouette is that of a classic longboard, hand-shaped from EPS foam and epoxy, then wrapped on all sides with a 0.5 mm custom-marked vintage-inspired veneer of real wood. The Sunburst edge paint finish, borrowed directly from Gibson's most iconic instruments, deepens toward the rails and pulls the eye across the entire deck. Every board ships with a free travel bag as part of the purchase, and personalization (custom chrome-plated insignia or hand-painted monograms) is available for dealers and resorts on request.

On the Water

The Malibu paddleboard comes in two configurations. The 11'6 SUP Flat Water version pairs a 225 L volume with a low rocker for increased buoyancy and stability, making it the natural pick for lakes, calm bays, and long touring sessions. The 11' SUP Wave Board sharpens the profile with a slightly shorter length, 200 L volume, and a more pronounced rocker for genuine wave riding, then adds a triple-fin setup for tighter turns. Both boards weigh under 30 lbs, making them easy to handle both on and off the water.
