The Rapid - Luxury Paddleboard

The Rapid luxury paddleboard is a weekend racer by Beau Lake, built from full carbon fiber with a real Macassar ebony top sheet, engineered around a piercing hatchet nose and flat bottom for pure speed on the water.

The Design

The Beau Lake Rapid is named after a lake on the western shore of Cabonga Reservoir in the Outaouais region of Quebec, and the name is not just decoration: length, shape, hatchet nose, and flat bottom combine into an ultra-fast weekend racing SUP. The build is a computer-shaped EPS foam core, vacuum-bagged in a full carbon fiber layup, and topped with a 0.5 mm real Macassar ebony veneer. A UV-protected polyurethane clear coat locks in the depth of the wood, while a 5 mm EVA deck center traction pad handles grip during long, powerful strokes.

On the Water

Stretching 14 feet with a narrow 26-inch waist, 281 L of volume, and a low 12 kg weight, the Rapid paddleboard tracks with the discipline of a race board and accelerates hard on every stroke. A 9-inch Race Foil fin gives it a good combination of tracking and turning capability, so it can carve back for the next line without losing speed. Every board ships with a free travel bag, and personalization (custom chrome-plated insignia or hand-painted monograms) is available for dealers and resorts on request.
