The Stripes porcelain plate is a limited collaboration between French porcelain house Non Sans Raison and TheArsenale, a clean white plate crossed by bold black stripes that turns any table into a design statement.

The Collaboration

Non Sans Raison has been shaping Limoges porcelain in France for generations, working with fashion houses, artists and design labels to push the material into contemporary territory. TheArsenale brought its motor-culture eye to the studio: a graphic black on white pattern inspired by racing liveries, tape lines on a workshop floor and the visual codes of speed. The result is a tableware piece that reads as much like a design object as a dinner plate.

What Makes It

Each Stripes plate is crafted in Limoges porcelain, fired at high temperature for a dense, chip-resistant body and a pure white finish. The black stripes are applied by hand and set under a glossy glaze, so the graphic stays sharp use after use. The rim is finely finished, the balance in the hand is deliberate, and the plate reads clean from every angle, elegant enough for a set table, graphic enough to hang as a piece of decor.

Materials & Fit

The plate sits comfortably alongside minimal, monochrome or industrial interiors, and mixes with plain white tableware to let the stripe pattern do the talking. Limoges porcelain is dishwasher friendly under normal cycles, though hand washing is recommended to preserve the hand-applied stripes over the long term. Not intended for microwave use with metallic accents where present.
