The Artist

The Ducati Desmosedici GP11 defined the opening chapter of Rossi's two-year Ducati adventure. A carbon-monocoque MotoGP prototype developed around the 800cc regulation carry-over, it was infamous for its uncompromising front end and became the bike that pushed both rider and factory into the well-known GP11.1 mid-season redesign. Every part of it, seat included, carries the fingerprint of that intense development cycle at Borgo Panigale.

The Piece

The seat unit is presented exactly as pulled from the racing paddock: original carbon fibre construction, factory finish, wear consistent with track use across a MotoGP season.
