The Artist

RIOCAM (Camilo Rios White), born in Medellin, Colombia and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, spent over a decade shaping the visual identity of Miami fashion. The Webster, Del Toro, Cotton Citizen, Stella McCartney, OFFWHITE, ERES Paris, and L'Oreal all found their photographic voice through his work. Founder and Creative Director of United Rivers, and Creative Director and founding partner of Toys for Boys Magazine, Rios draws his photographic sensibility directly from the Terrible Three: Chris Von Wangenheim, Guy Bourdin, and Helmut Newton. Their raw, controversial approach to the image in the 1970s and 1980s permanently shaped his eye for composition, tension, and color.
