Viks GT Launch Edition

The Viks GT Launch Edition is the bike that launched the Gran Turismo lineup of Viks: a handmade Estonian bicycle from Velonia with an aluminium alloy frame, sharp Italian-supercar lines, and a Gates Carbon Drive belt drivetrain.

The Concept

Where the classic Viks flowed in soft curves, the GT breaks those tubes with harder angles inspired by Italian supercar design. The Launch Edition marked the debut of that GT frame, aimed at urban commuters who wanted the lightest and most stylish Viks in the range. The frame comes in aluminium alloy as standard, and can be swapped to stainless steel on request for a more compliant ride.

The Build

The Launch Edition is driven by a Gates Carbon Drive belt, replacing the chain for silent, low-maintenance power delivery. That belt runs off a BLB Track crankset connected to a Shimano Square-Taper bottom bracket. Encore 5-Spoke wheels in charcoal keep the visual language aggressive and match the GT silhouette, while Shimano XTR Race brakes handle stopping duties at both ends.

The Ride

WTB ThickSlick 700x28c tires give the Launch Edition a quiet, fast-rolling character on urban tarmac, well suited to daily commuting. A Fizik Cyrano 00 Carbon seatpost is matched to a Fizik Volta R1 Braided saddle for a light, race-tuned contact point, while Baramind BAM grips add a touch of vibration damping. Motobicycles color pedals in black complete the stealth look. Most touchpoints can be customized to the rider.
