WLWC Full Black Fixie

The black fixie by WLWC is a hand tailored single speed bicycle, fully wrapped in genuine crocodile skin by French builders Fabrice Kaczmarek and Jeremy Kastelani.

The Concept

WLWC (Watch Life With Curiosity) treats the fixed gear bike as a wearable object, not a piece of gym equipment. Kaczmarek and Kastelani rebuilt a LOOK AL 464 frame with three custom Croco tubes, wrapping the raw aluminum in matte black exotic leather. Every visible surface is upholstered like a couture handbag, from saddle to grips.

The Build

The croc skin covering is bonded to the frame, saddle and bar tape by hand, seam by seam. Underneath sits a race grade component set: SRAM Pista carbon crankset, ZIPP carbon bracket, Deda carbon seatpost and MAVIC Ellipse wheels. The blackout treatment extends to a US X1 Titan front brake, keeping the silhouette pure while the leather grain catches the light.
