The Zero Gravity 2.0 is a fully rebuilt Triumph Thruxton 1200R by Bad Winners, a race-tuned street cafe racer with DYMAG carbon fiber wheels, an SC-Project carbon exhaust, and a two-year engine warranty, produced in a strict limited series of 25 units made to order.
The Concept
For Bad Winners, custom is not a modified handlebar and heat wrap on the pipes. The Paris-based workshop treats the Thruxton 1200R as a fundamentally strong platform that deserves race-grade upgrades on every axis: air, fuel, wheels, brakes, electronics. Zero Gravity 2.0 is the second iteration of that thesis. It reads as a raw, violent, efficient street bike that can equally line up on a Monster Race grid or eat a mountain B-road. The build is offered on order with delivery in six weeks and a 25-unit ceiling.
The Build
The wheels are DYMAG CA5 carbon fiber, cutting rotating mass and sharpening every steering input. Bodywork is carbon throughout: seat unit, tank, and Bad Winners' own carbon headlight fairing surrounding a Koso Thunderbolt LED lamp. Exhaust is a dual setup with Termignoni 2-in-1 pipes feeding an SC-Project CR-T carbon can. The intake breathes through Free Spirit HighFlow air filters with EVAP and Lambda removal kits and a Power Commander V managing the fuel map. Cockpit ergonomics come from Renthal Racing clip-ons and grips, a Motone push button, and Bad Winners' own triple tree and integrated speedometer. An Antigravity 8CELL small-case battery and Koso LED rear light close the electrics, and the entire bike ships in a shiny coat over powder coating.
Performance
The 1200cc twin is tuned to break the 200 km/h mark comfortably, backed by an ECU remap, larger carburetion, and the SC-Project exhaust. The DYMAG carbon wheels shave several kilograms of unsprung and rotating mass, delivering the flick-in response of a race bike rather than a factory naked. Renthal clip-ons place the rider in a full cafe racer stance, and the Termignoni-SC-Project combination gives the parallel twin a soundtrack that matches the visual language. The result is a Thruxton that behaves like a homologation special, tempered just enough to survive the street.
