To match the futuristic look, the Neutron uses a 60 hp electric motor rather than a combustion engine, because the team felt a gasoline engine note would break the illusion. The hubless steel wheels measure 24 by 12 inches, among the widest motorcycle wheels ever fitted, and use a proprietary dual hubless design with a center brake caliper. Despite looking like one rigid sculpture, the Neutron steers at the front and leans into curves, so it rides as a real machine and turns heads everywhere it goes.
