For the last decade, Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing have released an annual special-edition racing boat together. This year's collaboration was unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show; drawing inspiration from the AMG GT R and it's Green Hell Mango paintjob.
Measuring at 50-feet long, this racing boat has clearly drawn inspiration from the new AMG GT R. To live up to the AMG badge, the Marauder is powered by two Mercury Racing twin-turbocharged V8 engines. Both engines make enough power to propel the boat to AMG levels of speed. One of the most unique features is the ability to switch between power levels. At the turn of a key fob, you can switch from a 1350 hp cruising mode to a 1550 hp high-intensity cruising mode.
Built out of lightweight carbon fiber, the Marauder weighs around 589 kgs less than the previous boats. The cockpit, deck and consoles are also made out of carbon fiber. The Marauder is finished in a custom paint-job to correspond to the Mercedes-AMG GT R color palette. Coming at a limited run of only 8 units ever to be made; it is one of the most exciting collaborations between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing.
