The Apollo Intensa Emozione, known as the Apollo IE, is a naturally aspirated, V12-powered hypercar that marks Apollo Automobil's bold venture into the supercar market. Built almost entirely from carbon fibre, the IE delivers 780 horsepower, a sub-three-second sprint and uncompromising, pure-emotion driving, all wrapped in one of the most aggressive designs on the road and limited to just 10 units.

What is the Apollo Intensa Emozione?
Anyone interested in the automotive scene recognises Apollo Automobil for its Gumpert supercars, the ultimate street-legal beasts with race-like capabilities. The new Apollo IE follows a fresh path and marks the beginning of the brand's venture into the supercar market. It features a new visual identity defined by sharp lines and a bold design, with both front and rear shaped to look as aggressive as possible. Every body panel of the IE is built out of carbon fibre, and so is the chassis, resulting in a weight of only 2,755 pounds (1,250 kg). According to Wikipedia, that featherweight construction helps it hit 60 mph in around 2.7 seconds and top out near 208 mph.

How powerful is the Apollo IE V12?
A revamped naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 makes 780 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque, revving all the way to 9,000 rpm. Explaining why it ditched the turbocharger, Apollo said the decision to refrain from using any emotionally dilutive technological systems, such as hybridisation, was made to deliver a modern, yet nostalgically pure, unadulterated sensory experience. All of that power is sent to the wheels through a 6-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters by Hewland, which also lets you interchange gear ratios. As DriveMag put it, the IE is one of the wildest-looking hypercars in town.

How exclusive and expensive is the Apollo IE?
The Intensa Emozione is an extremely exclusive car, with only 10 units planned for production. Each one is customised and tailored to the client's requests, so expect 10 very unique renditions of this remarkable machine. That incredible exclusivity comes at a premium of 2.7 million dollars, cementing the Apollo IE as a true collector-grade hypercar.
