In 2014, a group of individuals with a shared passion for the interaction between transportation and cities came together to form the initial Bellwether team. Their goal was to develop innovative solutions for urban mobility that could improve the lives of people living in cities around the world. Their journey began with the launch of Gazelle, a hovercraft that quickly became a success.

Encouraged by their early success, the team decided to take their vision further and founded Bellwether Industries. Their mission was to create human-centric solutions for advanced air mobility that would provide safe, efficient, and comfortable experiences for people traveling within cities. In January 2019, the company was officially registered in London, and the team began to work on developing their vision.

Bellwether Industries believes that the future of urban mobility lies in the sky. They are convinced that people commuting in the air is inevitable within the next ten years. Their solution to this challenge is the Volar, a flying vehicle that can take off and land vertically, allowing it to reach any point in the city quickly and efficiently. The volar is designed to be accessible to anyone, so that people can fly anytime and anywhere they want.
