Carlex Design has decided to create a monster six-wheel variant of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class called the EXY 6x6.
This concept is more than just an X-class with an extra pair of wheels. This beast has a 2.0-liter turbo four gasoline engine and a trio of diesels ranging up to a 3.0-liter V6 good for 255 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. The company isn't being to open with technical details but we know that they are extending the rear and adding mounts for an extra axle. Also, they've required the fitment of a new transfer case and an extra differential and driveshaft since they added another axle and two wheels. The Exy 6×6 Concept has an extended loading platform, three axles, off-road tires, and a brand new rear end.
This concept by Carlex Design will only remain in this stage for a little bit as the company has plans of bringing the car into reality and releasing it in 2019.
