What the Concept Pegasus Changes About the Defender
The Series III Defender provides the starting point, but Erdem's intervention is radical. The engine moves from the front to the middle of the chassis, freeing up the nose and allowing a new cab-forward passenger compartment with a boxy glasshouse that maximises visibility. A third axle is added at the rear, driven along with the original two for true 6x6 traction.
