FERRARI ELETTRICA — HIGH PERFORMANCE, IN‑HOUSE TECH, AND A GUITAR‑LIKE ROAR

FERRARI ELETTRICA — HIGH PERFORMANCE, IN‑HOUSE TECH, AND A GUITAR‑LIKE ROAR

Ferrari’s Elettrica marks the brand’s first fully electric production car, a machine designed to keep the marque’s performance DNA while switching to battery power. Engineering centers on a purpose‑built electric architecture with carefully packaged battery modules and a chassis tuned for sports‑car dynamics. Ferrari reports the Elettrica will produce in excess of 1,000 horsepower, delivering supercar acceleration and top‑end performance comparable to the company’s highest‑performance combustion models.

Beyond raw numbers, Ferrari has developed much of the Elettrica’s technology in‑house: bespoke electric motors, suspension tuning, and drive‑mode integration to preserve the brand’s characteristic handling and driver engagement. The car also introduces an engineered sound experience — an electric signature described as akin to an electric guitar — intended to provide emotional feedback while complying with EV acoustics. Materials and interiors incorporate sustainable choices where possible, blending Ferrari craftsmanship with modern, environmentally conscious components.

Production and customer introduction are staged: Ferrari plans interior reveal phases followed by market launch in early 2026. The Elettrica aims to deliver a bridge between classic Ferrari driving emotion and the requirements of an electric future, offering both extreme performance and a distinct sensory identity. In short: over 1,000 hp, bespoke in‑house EV systems, a unique engineered sound, and sustainable design choices — Ferrari’s statement that high performance and electrification can coexist.
